Job description (responsibilities):
- Receive and handle raw materials for production;
- Perform material handling tasks, such as loading, unloading and sorting materials;
- Cutting and assembling roof trusses and joists according to the production manager’s instructions;
- Handle various tools;
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing norms and standards with respect to quality guidelines;
- Comply with safety standards, company policies and procedures;
- Be responsible for the quality of roof trusses and joists manufactured in the workshop;
- Report anomalies or non-conformities in the manufacturing process;
- Solve problems related to the realization of projects;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
- Prepare materials and supply workstations for the next project;
- Calibrate work tables;
- Follow the instructions of the team leader and production manager, and work in collaboration with other team members.
Skills required:
- High school diploma;
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, assembly and safe tool handling;
- Be in good physical condition to lift heavy loads;
- Be responsive in a dynamic production environment and able to adapt to changes;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Organizational skills and ability to work methodically;
- Autonomy and initiative;
- Positive attitude.
